The Chatham Maroon Atom AEs lost a close game in Essex on November 8th, 4-2 in Bluewater league action.
Matt Farrugia and Tyler Szabo scored for Chatham.
The goalies were outstanding as Liam Barstead stopped 20 of 22 shots and Kyle Mcpherson stopped 12 of 14 in the loss.
On Saturday The AEs dropped a heartbreaking exhibition loss to St Thomas, 4-2, with an empty net goal scored with 9 seconds left.
Tyler Coles and Josh Farrugia scored for the Maroons.
Once more the goaltending was stellar with Barstead turning aside 13 of 15 shots and McPherson 12 of 14.
